A House Without Walls Scroll 18—20 August 2023 El Rancho, Waikanae The Abbey is a national annual Anglican conference for youth leaders and young adults from across the motu to gather, pray, worship, learn and reimagine together. “You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” E hoa mā, it’s been some time since we gathered, but we are blessed to be back at The Abbey this year. How good that through it all God was, is, and will be with us. Psalm 23 speaks of His being with us, "You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows." The Lord is with us to revive and restore/bring blessing to our cups. In te reo māori, the kupu ‘kapu’ serves as both verb and noun, speaking of the action of cupping ones hands in order to drink, and the cup that is formed by the hands. This year at The Abbey the hope is that you come with open hands, cupped and ready to be filled with blessing. Our prayer is that our cups not only be filled, in order to sustain ourselves, but that they would overflow, to
